At the office
- Turn off at the mains – turn all appliances off at the mains instead of leaving them on standby. You could save money on your electricity bills
- Switch your bulbs – Replace your current bulbs with energy saving bulbs not only due they reduce the CO² emissions ,but they last longer and will save you money on your energy bills
- Switch to 30 degrees – Most popular detergents work just as well on a 30 degree wash.This will save on energy and water
- Reduce Heat loss – Reducing heat loss in your workplace will not only save on CO² emissions but will save you money.There are schemes around to help with cost of insulating .Also check for draughts around doors and windows
- Turn down your thermostat – Turning down the thermostat by as little as 1 degree can save as much as 10% of heat you use
